Because their pupils are vertically oval, which are easier to be at adjusted to light than round pupils. Besides, there are several times more of poke cells than taper cells in its vision cells. The more pole cells are, the better eyes are at seeing things at night.

At which altitude do giant pandas live?

They usually leave it in altitude between 2000-3000meters. It is not convenient for them to live below 1300 meters due to intensive human activities. The maximum altitude they can adjust to is 3200-3500 meters above sea level but sometimes reaching 4000m in special cases.
